California Association of Public Authorities for IHSS - The professional organization that connects various Public Authorities across California.

2-1-1 SAN DIEGO - This agency provides social service information and referral services for people that live in San Diego County.  By dialing 211 (or their alternate telephone no. (858) 300-1211) you will be linked to a live, highly-trained Information & Referral Specialist who will navigate you through your situation by assessing your needs and then matching you to the best resource in your community.  Assistance is confidential and offered in more than 150 languages.  

California Department of Social Services (CDSS) – CDSS’ mission is to provide aid, services and protection to needy children and adults.  The Department also strives to strengthen and encourage individual responsibility and independence for families.
